    Cajun Recipes

    Cajun food is comfort food with an attitude.  Cajun food is different from Creole food, although the distinction gets less all the time. Not to overgeneralize, but Cajun food is often looked upon as country cooking, while Creole is often referred to as City cooking.  Using what the earth provides, the heritage and traditions of the Cajun culture transform the abundant bounty of South Louisiana's land and sea into a cuisine that is as unique as the Cajun culture itself.  Here is Sweet Daddy D's growing collection of Cajun dishes which offer both traditional and modern Cajun fare.
